Enjoy A Day Out With A Difference In North Kingston

You have most likely thought about what to do to keep the family entertained this December – but have you thought about hiking with goats?

Simmons Farm Organics in nearby Middletown is offering hikes with goats throughout December. Head out of North Kingston and enjoy a day on the farm with an unusual crowd of fellow hikers.

  • Hikes last ninety minutes.
  • Walk with Farmer Karla and her herd of goats.
  • Learn about farming life and the history of farming in New England.

There will be plenty of stops along the way so you can enjoy the views of Narragansett Bay, and the goats can nibble the grass. Join Farmer Karla on December 12, 19, or 27. Hikes cost $10 - $25, and there are various time slots available.

It is always good to get out and about in the colder months. However, it is also a good idea to make sure your home is protected from water damage while you are away. If you are concerned about water damage repair, call SERVPRO of Newport & Bristol Counties at (401) 847-8145.
